Three Dog Bakery (Barkery) For Dogs.

January 23rd, 2009 1 comment

tommy-bs-gyro-map-005Newport loves its Dogs, so it’s a perfect location for the Three Dog Bakery.  It’s a chain, but this one is in the Corona Del Mar Plaza in Newport Beach.  It’s near Fashion Island, an outdoor shopping center that welcomes Dogs.  It’s hard to go there without seeing one.  The Three Dog Bakery ( I like to call it Barkery) bakes cute treats that are easily digested by Dogkind.  I’m not sure, but this location may be their best franchise.

Three Dog Bakery in Lake Arrowhead Village.

September 25th, 2008 5 comments

It’s already Octoberfest at Lake Arrowhead Village — Now and every weekend starting at noon through all of October.  And there’s no admission fee.  We were at the family cabin (nearby) last weekend with a couple Dogs, Holly and Maggie, respectively below.

Since we cooked up a storm for ourselves, we picked up a few treats from the Three Dog Bakery for the pets.  Dogs are always popular in Lake Arrowhead Village, but you can’t bring them inside the roped Octoberfest/Band Area — You should know that if you’re a pet owner who also wants to party, because you can’t bring your Beer outside the ropes.

And we always bring Peanuts for the Blue Jays.  We just put a bunch on the cabin deck and they fly right in to get them.  It’s pretty cool.  They’re so beautiful too.

And here’s the Dogs playing in the cabin.  They were tugging over a stuffed Gorilla until we gave them the treats from the Three Dog Bakery.  I should also mention that there’s a Three Dog Bakery in Newport Beach too, since that’s where I live — Not at the Barkery, near Newport. 🙂

Pets And People Escape Heat & Eat In Lake Arrowhead.

September 16th, 2012 No comments

Day vay-kay to get away from the persistent heat — We escaped to Lake Arrowhead and watched the temperature go down as we drove up the mountain.  Awe, oooo, wow, awe…

Cheers to that — We then enjoyed food baked for various visiting and local species.

It was Beer and Pizza at Lake Arrowhead Village Pizza for we the people.

And a special gourmet treat for Leon (Our Pet Treat Judge) from Three Dog Bakery nearby.

The Pizza was good, but we were most impressed with the extra frosty mugs — Cool stuff!

The view was beautiful and weather comfortable with an umbrella.

Every bite of all shown was consumed and followed by a partial walk around the lake.

Lake Arrowhead, so close, yet so far away — Take the high road to cooler, fresh ground.

Lake Arrowhead Village is extra happening during Oktoberfest — It starts later this month.
